Overview

This residential project for Nina Maya Interiors features a range of artisan finishes on both the walls and joinery items.

  • The wine room shelving is plastered in a black Grassello, reminiscent of marble
  • Grassello is also used in the powder room, where it has been colour-matched to the marble vanity
  • The bedroom desks are finished in Forcrete Coarse
  • The living area walls are finished in Marmorino Antico 300

Feature Finishes

The kitchen island was created in conjunction with i space solutions. The design began as separate, differently shaped layers, to which we applied several coats of Forcrete microcement, pausing in between to allow drying time. It took 3 applicators nearly 3 weeks to complete the textured finish. Then, the layers were stacked and secured in the kitchen to create the final, curvaceous piece.
